Your rings can use some extra love this summer. Often, when traveling or out on a summer vacation lotions and sunscreen can find their way into the crevices of your rings. When you are on the go and can’t make it in to us for a routine cleaning, we recommend three easy ways to protect and clean your rings on the go and bring that sparkle back to your beloved rings. We'll share quick and effective cleaning solutions for your Sethi stacking rings and other jewelry items that you can easily do at home or on the go.
1. Protect Your Rings While Traveling
Ensure the longevity of your rings with this travel hack. Invest in a small, purpose-built pouch or travel case that provides individual slots or compartments to keep your rings separate and prevent them from scraping against each other. You can also reuse cloth jewelry pouches to safely store and keep rings separated.
2. Swim with Confidence
First, make sure you have the right tools for cleaning. You will need dish soap, a soft brush, and small bowl.
- Step 1: Add small amount of dish-washing soap to the bowl
- Step 2: Add warm water
- Step 3: Let the rings soak for 1 min
- Step 4: Gently brush each ring with soap and water, rinse and repeat!
Make sure to rinse your rings thoroughly with clean, fresh water immediately after swimming. Pat dry your rings at the end and allow the rings to air dry completely before wearing them again or storing them.

3. Make Your Rings Shine for Any Event
And last but not least, if you want to go the extra mile. Utilize baking soda for a deep clean. Baking soda is not harsh on metals and diamonds and so it is a great way to create a paste with just some water and soap. To regularly clean jewelry, soak your jewelry in a baking soda-soapy water solution, mix 1 cup (240 ml) of warm water with 1–2 tsp (4.8–9.6 g) of baking soda and a squirt of dish soap for 20 minutes.
Then, scrub gently with a brush and rinse your jewelry clean with running, cool water, making sure to remove all baking soda residue.
