Most black diamonds undergo safe color enhancement treatments, such as high Pressure, high Temperature (HPHT) processes, which enhance color saturation without altering their fundamental structure. Black diamonds are highly durable, scoring a 10/10 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness.
